MINUTES
January 4, 2007
The regular meeting of the
Ontelaunee Township Board of Supervisors was called to order
at 7:00pm by the board Chairman William Klein, in the
Ontelaunee Township building, with Board Supervisors Kenneth
Stoudt and Raymond Ernst present.

Motion made by Kenneth Stoudt, seconded
by William Klein to approve the Regular Meeting Minutes from
December 7, 2006. Vote 2-0.
BUSINESS FROM FLOOR
Walter Deener – 222 Reality Co.
William Klein made a motion seconded by Kenneth Stoudt for
Mark Stabolepszy, John Wertz and Scott Reeser to meet
regarding a decision on zoning. Vote 3-0.
Unison – Jason Ostrowski The
Board directed him to talk to TH Properties regarding the
cell tower.
Forino – Ken Schnader
Presented Final Plan for Willow Glen North. He will be
returning for the February meeting.
THP – Board set a date to
continue the conditional use hearing on February 21 at 7:00
PM at the Leesport Fire Hall.
Group Three Properties – Dale
Smith Kenneth Stoudt made a motion seconded by William
Klein to advertise for rezoning. Vote 3-0.
Brenntag – Kenneth Stoudt made a
motion seconded by Raymond Ernst to approve the Brenntag
plans. Vote 3-0.

REPORTS
December 2006 Real Estate Taxes

Raymond Ernst made a motion, seconded
by William Klein to accept reports. Vote 3-0.
POLICE
Officer Drazenovich presented the
December 2006 Northern Berks Regional Police Report.
ROADMASTER
Kenneth Stoudt presented Roadmaster
Report for Decemeber 2006.
Kenneth Stoudt reported Kubota replace
the windshield on new mower.
ENGINEER
Kenneth Stoudt made a motion seconded
by Raymond Ernst to award the culvert repair bid for Willow
Creek Rd and Mohrsville Rd to Floyd G. Hersh in the amount
of $27,983.00. Vote 3-0.
SOLICITOR
Kenneth Stoudt made a motion seconded
by Raymond Ernst for the Chairman to sign the Developers
Improvement agreement for Brenntag. Vote 3-0.
CODE ENFORCEMENT
Scott Reeser presented the Code
Enforcement Officers Report.
The estimated construction value of
permits for December 2006 is $681,528.00 with $5,946.10
assessed in permit fees.
The Board of Supervisors agreed to give
Mr. Schaeffer of 5652 Allentown Pike an extension for
trimming his field.
The Board of Supervisors granted
permission to Bursich to file a citation with the District
Justice for the Young residence at 537 Snyder Rd.
NEW BUSINESS
The Board of Supervisors picked the
Hershey Lodge and Convention Center for their hotel during
PSATS.
The Board of Supervisors will be
attending The Tractor/Mower Operator Safety Training Program
on April 22, 2007 for $65.00 a piece.
Raymond Ernst and Bill Klein will be
attending a Road Maintenance Symposium during the PSATS
convention.
Kenneth Stoudt made a motion seconded
by William Klein to approve TMI payment application #2 in
the amount of $86,850.00. Vote 3-0.
Raymond Ernst made a motion seconded by
William Klein to approve Kinsley payment application #7 in
the amount of $348,160.71. Vote 3-0.
Raymond Ernst made a motion seconded by
William Klein to approve Bognet payment application #5 in
the amount of $22,910.60. Vote 3-0.
Kenneth Stoudt made a motion seconded
by Raymond Ernst to approve TMI payment application #3 in
the amount of $10,260.00. Vote 3-0.
Kenneth Stoudt made a motion seconded
by William Klein to approve Change order #12 in the amount
of $28,944.00. Vote 3-0.
Kenneth Stoudt made a motion seconded
by William Klein to approve Change Order #13 in the amount
of $2,551.00. Vote 3-0.
Kenneth Stoudt will remain the contact
for the new township building while under construction.
The Township will be placing an
additional speed limit sign on Ashley Way between the
Redners Entrance and the SV Elementary School at the request
of the Northern Berks Regional Police.
Fire Chief Mark Haas presented the
Leesport Fire Company report for 2006.
Kenneth Stoudt made a motion seconded
by William Klein to allow the Leesport Fire Company to use
the Township radio frequency for communication purposes.
Vote 3-0.
The Township will support the Leesport
Fire Company regarding the fire hydrants being installed by
RAWA in the township.
EXECUTIVE
The Board of Supervisors entered
executive session at 10:10 PM and adjourned the executive
session at 10:40 PM.
William Klein made a motion seconded by
Raymond Ernst to appoint Kenneth Stoudt as Roadmaster for
2007.
ADJOURNMENT
William Klein made a motion seconded by
Kenneth Stoudt to adjourn the monthly meeting at 10:41PM.
